In the SteigtUM project, a mobility system is being developed that consists of small electric vehicles suitable for everyday use, an autonomous rental and charging infrastructure and a universal user interface. In this way, the broadest possible group of people is offered a cost-effective, readily available and emission-free alternative to the car. The system can be used both privately and commercially. The entire system is being tested in terms of functionality, flexibility, acceptance and user-friendliness in a multi-stage real laboratory in the city of Freiberg.
