The Butterfly Monitoring Germany is a project in which voluntary butterfly friends throughout the country regularly count butterflies along defined routes (= transects) and transmit the recorded data to the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research - UFZ for scientific evaluation. This app is aimed at all registered butterfly counters who would like to record their data directly during the transect count. An input tool is available for this purpose, which makes it easy and uncomplicated to record the moths observed. To ensure the identification of the moths, profiles are stored for all butterfly species in Germany.
