About this app
The app helps in finding buildings and facilities of the University Hospital of Dresden. The user can use an interactive map and find instantly the location of buildings.
The University Hospital Dresden provides medical care at the highest level of care. As tertiary care hospital, it covers the entire spectrum of modern medicine. The University Hospital unites 20 clinics and polyclinics, four institutes and 10 interdisciplinary centers that work closely with the clinical and theoretical institutes of the Medical Faculty. The spatial and technical facilities of the University Hospital is constantly brought up to date.
With 1,295 beds and 160 seats for the daily clinical management of patients, it is the largest hospital in the city and also the only tertiary care hospital in eastern Saxony. The catchment area extends from Görlitz to Glauchau, Bad Brambach to Hoyerswerda.
Around 860 doctors meet in Dresden University Hospital from the entire spectrum of modern medicine. 1,860 nurses take care of the welfare of the patient.
In addition to its central provision of health care, the University Hospital Dresden fulfills tasks of training, education and training of medical personnel and public health.
Since 1 July 1999, the University Hospital is a public institution of the Free State of Saxony. Decisions can then be made quickly and locally. Institutions of the University Hospital are the Supervisory Board and the Management Board.
