So.. I have to enter my password every single time I open the app and there is no way to schedule warm-up. This app needs a lot of work.
The app it self is nearly "OK" but when the Car-Net service cannot connect to my car to get data, that sucks big time. I don't want to think that it is the developers that are less skilled or whatever, I'm more leaning towards that they have their hands tied behind their backs due to the size of VW group, security reasons etc. It's hard for a large company to be agile. To bad if it scares away the more and more tech savvy consumers.
Major login-issues 2/3 times i try to open the app. The app has been unstable for a very long time. Not impressed by how VW handles this.
Crashes and does not remember login details. Android wear support does not work. Very little options available with my 2016 car. Only can store new POIs to navigator. None of the example screenshots are usable on my car. (I have car stick on my car)
This app is shockingly poor. Hardly logs in. doesn't do much with the car. Can't login on the wife's phone. Creating an account was piss poor. Took ages to get it created ... about 8 days after a call to the 0800 number. Today it just won't login. Tried to reset password about 3 times with no joy. If the technical team are reading this.. use a function call init caps the upper/lower case.. issue is a school boy coding error. Feel free to reach out on a lesson !! When paying 40k for a car a basic app that was sold as an odd-on that doesn't work. Come Monday im talking the new car back to the dealer and want all my money back.. Tech pack should be named as tech joke.. joke being it makes u laugh spending so much for something that does work..!! Not happy at all
It doesn't do anything. VW should be ashamed (again) for producing a useless app and facility that has so much promise but delivers virtually nothing.
