Together with our DataPlug**, the ‘We Connect Go’ app connects you instantly with your new vehicle or model from 2008 onwards. That’s plug and play connectivity from Volkswagen.

Happy with the features on the app and all the info. But a huge drawback is the errors. The app crashes from time to time, and there is a permanent message on the top of my phone screen that says "Data Backup in progress". But it never goes over 10% for some reason. Quite annoying, you have to force shutdown the app to get rid of the notification. Doesn't go over 10% when using mobile data or on wifi. It can be a really useful app to use, just the bugs and crashes are super annoying

Edit: I can no longer login because of data transmission hanging. This app must have been abandoned I used to really like this app. The features were good and everything worked as expected. Now it doesn't work half the time, I can't view any trip history and the data backup outright doesn't work. I recently switched phone and after double checking if the backup had completed successfully I transferred to my new device. I no longer have any data from my old phone, only from my phone before that.

The app itself has good features but it's useless due to a lot of bugs. - Backup pop-up is always showing and never able to complete; - When opening latest routes the app crashes; - Sometimes it crashes registering fuel data. After changing to a new phone I lost all my data due to the well known backup issue and now I can't even login, the app crashes during login process. I've opened few tickets reporting all these bugs but nothing was done to fix them, it's a shame, better kill the app.
