Want to use practical connectivity features in your Volkswagen*, but don’t have We Connect or Car-Net in your vehicle? No problem. Together with our DataPlug**, the ‘We Connect Go’ app connects you instantly with your new vehicle or model from 2008 onwards. That’s plug and play connectivity from Volkswagen.

An overview of the benefits for you:

- Volkswagen authorised workshops, appointment scheduling and navigation are just a click away
- Greater safety in an emergency thanks to direct contact with the national 24-hour breakdown service or the Volkswagen service hotline

- Drive more efficiently and save fuel with statistics, driving style analysis and challenges

Download the free app, simply insert the DataPlug into your vehicle’s diagnostic connection, register in the app and connect your smartphone to your Volkswagen via Bluetooth.

I enjoy the app. I am not sure if the service is coming to an end, hope not. This app is great, especially when it communicates with the dealer to have the vehicle serviced. That little bit of vw commitment make a difference in customer experience with the brand...thank for this it makes things easy in out busy schedules. Keep up in drinking innovative ideas to make our experience better. Love it.

The app works reasonably well, but I do have problems with the fuel monitor, I enter a value then go to the next entry but as soon as I start tapping in the new figures the previous entry alters. Very annoying. Is there going to be a replacement for We Connect Go after the December shut down.

I recently got my first car, which is a 2023 Volkswagen T-cross Comfort line, and I've been using this app to track my trips, fuel usage, how efficient my driving was and the best part is that there are challenges. The challenges are a fun way to drive, such as 50km in one go, elevation, rpm controll, and many, many more! A must-have app for Volkswagen users with a 2008 model and higher. It's just very sad to see that the app won't be around for long 😪
