A great, easy to use mapping tool for updating OpenStreetMap on the go, as a beginner, or both. It finds nearby items on the map that are missing information (street names, bike lane status, parking access, building levels etc.) and turns them into quests for you to fill in details around you. It's not very powerful, so if you want to add new paths or structures, you'll need another app (or a desktop). But what it does, it does very well, and I use it for most of my on-the-ground mapping.

What an amazing app! I love the clean and fun interface, and how it encourages exploration while also helping the amazing cause of OSM. The little rewards you get for fishing certain tasks are a lovely touch, and so are the links to different OSM Projects that you unlock along the way. In many years of using smartphones, this is the first review I've written because I REALLY wanted to give this app a bump. Highly highly recommend!!

Really amazing project but please add satellite view so that I know what I'm looking at and add a search engine that support GPS coordinates, this will make it much easier for me to contribute, yesterday I was trying to add an elementary school to the map but because I can't figure out the exact location on the map it was trial and error with 'open location in another app' until I pin pointed the location, this is a very tedious procedure. Thanks I installed both apps

You could also try the app Vespucci if you are looking for a fully featured editor (with satellite view) as well as EveryDoor (a POI editor, but also with satellite view).
