There is a reason this app is highly rated... it is a great app! Yes, there are ads. But, unlike local television, you can pay a very nominal fee – currently $1.50/month or, even better, $8.99/year – and get an ad-free experience. What I really like is all the different types of weather charts... including one showing different regions of my state.

A big ad appears on the initial page of the display taking up 1/3 of the screen. This doesn't give a very good impression of the app. But the weather information, when displayed, does appear to be quite accurate as well as easy on the eyes and well arranged. You can pay to get rid of the ads, or you must put up with the oversized and small ads.

This is the best weather app I've ever used! There's only a couple of things that take some getting used to. The first one is the rain being showed in the radar as blue. Every other way I've seen radar, rain is green and snow is blue so you can tell the difference between precipitation types. Not a huge deal because I live in Florida, but if I were back in New England it would be confusing for sure. The only other thing is that I wish the app had dark mode, because I run all my apps that way.
