Whether you have a traditional meter or a smart meter: With the Yello app, you get complete transparency about your consumption and your electricity or gas costs. Thanks to smart self-service features, you can easily manage everything related to your energy contract yourself.

The Yello app forecast – your smart assistant for your electricity or gas meter.
The forecast function helps you find the best discount so you can look forward to your bill with confidence. After each meter scan, the app recalculates your forecast and suggests an ideal discount, which you can adjust directly in the app.

Transparency also applies to our new flexible tariffs.
Use electricity when it's cheap on the market or plan your energy consumption for savings periods: Even if you choose a dynamic or time-variable tariff from Yello – the Yello app makes your consumption visible and helps you get the most out of your tariff. And thanks to your smart meter, you can skip the meter reading scan. The transmitted values are automatically visible in the app.

Worth company ever, never sign contract with them. I was customer myself an now after two year when I changed to other provider, the send me bill (saying it's recalculate value) without any information, explanation where and how they did the calculation...) took money from my account, and now when I go to customer service I constantly, already longer than one month get mails, that I have to wait before they prove my claim. Don't do this mistake, never sign contract with them!

Since the latest update (from kWhapp to Yello) the user experience is now very poor. By default, when I enter my meter reading, it defaults to the contract from my previous home, which ended 7 months ago. I can't hide that old contract or make my current contract the default. It's very confusing. The menu has less functionality than before. And the icons aren't obvious to help manually enter the meter reading. Please fix this, it's painful to use with this current version.

Accordong to my contract, I have 166 kwh allowance for Strom monthly. Even though I am using less energy, app says that I will get Nachzahlung at the end of the year. The same problem occurs with Gas as well. Cant understand the logic of the app. I have written an email as well, but they could not give me a clear answer. No idea what is the purpose of this app.

What’s new

With this update, we’ve improved registration and login so you can access your Yello app even faster and more easily.
We’ve also revamped the relocation process so you can easily transfer your electricity to your new address.
In addition, we’ve made technical adjustments: Devices running Android 8 are no longer supported.
