Turn your smartphone or tablet to the time machine and collect exciting impressions of Nuertingen from past decades and centuries.
To 14 areas in the city core Nürtinger show more than 60 photographs from the past, as the city has once looked and developed in certain places over the years.
Nürtingen has in its over 900-year history of the city developed a diverse cultural landscape and built a nationwide reputation as an important educational center. Where today drive cars on the road, oxen were driven to a market previously. Where you can stroll today to stroll through the city center, once wafted the smell of a brewery in the air and echoed the hammering of a blacksmith through the streets. This spirit is alive again by the time window App.
It shows both locally and outside the city a list of so-called "window period", which open at the appropriate places in Nürtingen by clicking. Using the smartphone or tablet camera you can put the historical record straight about the current city view and thus can merge past with the present.
There is valuable additional information that are stored as audio guides to the individual stations. These were set to music by Martin Umbach, who has lent his voice already known synchronous numerous Hollywood stars like George Clooney or Russell Crowe.
