About this app

Music Folder Player was made for people who don't like to see music displayed based on artist, album, track or playlists. If you prefer organizing your audio tracks in folder this may be the right player for you.

Besides that it comes with a lot of unique features.

This app is an audio PLAYER, not a DOWNLOADER. If you search for an app to download new music, this app is NOT suitable for you. This player just handles audio files which are already on your device.

Don't worry about 'adware' warnings of some antivirus scanners. Of course the player is not a virus. This is just because the player shows advertisements. The full version is not affected by that.

Really amazing, the whole app is straighforward and easy to use. I was looking for a better way to play mp3 files for audiobooks I tranfered from a mp3 player to my phone. No unnecessary clutter to anything. There's indicators that show where exactly you left off the last time you used the app saving your exact spot. Be warned there are very rare ocassional ads when you are navigating through folders, but NEVER when you are actually playing/ listening to anything.

I had this app on my previous phone and it was great. Used it to play music in my car via Bluetooth connection and it would stop when I turned the car off and resume from the same spot when I got in the car again. Now with the updated version that does not happen about 50% of the time. And I only realize this after I start driving, so I have to open the app to resume music but first have to dig through the library to find it, but only after I closed the ad that pops up. Was awesome. Not anymore.

I bought the app a few years ago and it's still my favorite player, I use it daily.... it does exactly what I want it to do, choose the artist folder, then choose the album folder, then it shows the file names in order; 01-title, 02-title.... I click on 01 and I hear the whole album... simple... Ah, in the live albums (for example) there is no silence between the songs... And long live to Progressive rock....
