Amateur radio, what is it?
An amateur radio operator is someone who has been officially authorized to communicate by radio with other people in the world who are also legally authorized.
Radio amateurs are people "interested in radio technology on a purely personal basis and without pecuniary interest". There are more than 2 million radio amateurs in the world. The majority of radio amateurs are not professionals: they occupy all professions and come from all walks of life. The magic of airwaves and radio is their common passion.
Technical informations
The application's question database is downloaded on first start (approximately 30MB of questions and images will be downloaded). It may take a while if your internet connection is poor. The app works without a network after that.
To update the question base after the first installation select the option in the menu at the top right of the home screen. Usually new issues are published quarterly.
