Eh, it's OK. On the first day we got all 3 of our phones connected (2 galaxy s7 and one amazon fire phone). And had chat and phone working. Was able to make calls to US from Mexico thru app. Stopped working a couple of days later, had to set it up again. I somehow lost the phone feature from my app (chat still worked) - just used one of our other phones to call US. Not much info about the resort - just generic info, not date-specific (what is the drink of the day? Which movie is being shown? Which restaurant is closed? We made plans to go to the French restaurant without the kids one night only to find out when we got there that it was closed - that info was no where to be found on the app or the in-room tablet). Wifi was spotty and you could only connect 2 devices at a time per room.
Crashes constantly. Terrible! I suppose it a good idea in theory, but whoever wrote this app should be fired.
Won't allow to "register my Android" which is a requirement to see the daily schedule of activities and restaurant options
Used in Jamaica and worked great
The Secret Resort Wild Orchard is a joke. They have had blackout everynight. All they say is no problem yet they do nothing. Spent 6k what wate. Don't even get my started about Sunwing. We have been having problems with the Resort and our Sunwing representative, Sophia is nowhere to be found. Useless.
Good idea, some big flaws (that are easy to fix) Had a lot of promise. Is a good portal for information and contacting others on property. Functions well when connected. But app falls apart when changing wifi zones on resort property. Change hotspot? Need to shut app down completely and restart to get chat messages or retrieve information. Impacted everyone in my party, even iPhone users. A few minutes spent on updating this to better detect network state would earn this 4 or 5 stars. But in its current state, we were too frustrated to use the app.
