Mýr is an interactive experience that takes the player 10.000 years back in time, to the Stone Age of Scandinavia. As the spirit of the marsh you manipulate the fog and mud, shaping the expedition of two hungry hunters.
In Mýr, you follow two hunters into a foggy marsh where they prey upon a deer. The Scandinavian marsh is a mystical place that serves as a membrane between the physical and the spiritual world. By sinking the ground of the marsh, you decide which path the hunters choose to go, or you can reveal, sink and overthrow objects in the marsh.
The fog can be cleared by swiping it away, which will expand the vision for both you and the hunters, revealing more of the intriguing universe of Mýr.
The interactive experience Mýr is based on research from the late Stone Age in the North. This is emphasized through the narrative journey that the hunters are brought on at their expedition in the marsh, where items and assets from the historical age is telling a story of life and death.
With a stylized and hand painted artstyle, Mýr presents a highly aesthetic and atmospheric adventure, that can be enjoyed by all ages.
