Why use Blur Wallpaper?
I like to have a picture of my family as the background for my phone. The details on the image however makes it difficult to see the icons and makes my homescreen look cluttered.
You can use Blur Wallpaper to blur, darken and desaturate your current wallpaper. This allows you to keep your icons and widgets in the spotlight.

Blur Wallpaper allows you to apply the same settings as with Muzei without the need of a live wallpaper. This makes it more simple and saves battery!

Blur Wallpaper also supports lock screen wallpapers on newer Android versions.

This app is great. I can easily blur my wallpaper and instantly apply it from the app. Also i can dim the wallpaper by this app. It does have ads but it doesn’t have those freaking pop up ads. I didn’t have to save the wallpaper to apply it. So there wasn't unnecessary wallpaper taking my memory space. Also this app is only about 5mb. Overall this is a really great and useful (if you need it) app. I highly recommend it (as i tested other blur wallpaper app).

Does a good job of blurring current wallpaper, but doesn't allow you to save it separately, just changes the wallpaper. If you want that option you need to download another app from the same developer.

Good concept but misses basic features like png images. Moreover, if a full resolution cropped wallpaper has been applied, there is no way to zoom it out; the app selects its own zoomed in view of the picture.
