Application freezes and locks the camera even when quit, xperia xz premium. I would never use this for serious scanning, you will get nowhere near the quality from your original negative doing this, the dynamic range of negative film will smoke most phone cameras. Prefer the nikon CoolScan V myself
Using a Sony Xperia ZX, you app just shuts down when you try to use it. Pity as I really wanted to try this out.
Doesn't work on a Samsung Galaxy S8. Color correction seems to work well, but it won't correctly autofocus, even after making sure I was more than 10cm away. Occasionally (very rarely) it will work, but not repeatedly and only about 1 out of every 20 tries. Not useable. In response to developer's comments: Thanks for your response. I'm not tapping on the screen, I'm trying to let it autofocus. But on my S8 it just doesn't work -- it just stays consistently fuzzy regardless of the distance the phone camera is from the negative. I don't know what else to tell you -- autofocus isn't working at all. It works fine with the native Samsung camera app, and also with the Lightroom CC Mobile camera app. For what it's worth, I also tried another similar film negative scanner app, and it has the same issue on my phone of not being able to autofocus at all. Although I'm jumping to conclusions, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy S8 may present some unique challenges with autofocus.
Does not work well on my LG V20. Please fix, thank you.
The scanned image contains multiple vertical lines that are not present on the original negative. Not what I was looking for. A poor substitute for a flat bed photo scanner. Definitely a app for amateur photography.
Rubbish doesn't even get past the first screen. Really annoying
