The “My museum speaks French” application, produced by the French Institute of Denmark with the financial support of the French Institute of Paris, offers two digital escape games in French with, for each, a mission to accomplish and puzzles to solve.
It offers fun and interactive content intended for A2/B1 level students in French.
The two routes offered are:
1. Great-great-aunt’s secret
Chloé, a young budding collector, discovers a secret hidden in her great-great-aunt's papers. She seems to have posed for a work which is at the Glyptotek in Copenhagen. Curious and intrigued, she went to Denmark in search of the image of her great-great-aunt. Is it a portrait on canvas, a sculpture? No idea! But, she hopes to be able to recognize it once there!
This route can be completed on site, at the museum, independently or with a French class!
2. To the rescue of Andersen
The characters from H.C. Andersen's stories remained locked in his suitcase. Help Andersen find his suitcase and free his characters before the tales disappear.
A third tour, dedicated to the Statens Museum for Kunst, will be published very soon.
The application complements the educational files to be discovered on the project website: https://mit-museum-taler-fransk.site.
