Top notch! The Nissan Connect app is quite terrible. I bought a 2020 Leaf SV. It was clear right away, the app sucks!!!... You cant depend on the climate controls working and getting an accurate update on charging info is almost impossible. My Leaf is lightyears ahead of the connect app. It loads up quick, no ads, easy to use, no lag and it updates the cars information in 1/8 of the time vs Nissan's app. Thank you, T! You are amazing indeed!

Very nice work. I was wondering how to get a hold of the API so I could investigate it's capabilities, but you've done an awesome job so I won't bother. Thanks and keep up the good work. An option for metric/english units would be nice when you have some spare cycles. By the way,I have a 2019 Leaf (U.S.) and the capabilities seem to be working well. (Update response). You are very welcome! I also write free / ad-free apps and have seen your despair at unreasonable 1-star reviews. I feel your pain. (Simple Metronome, if you are a musician feel free (pun intended) to use it. :-) ).

Hello Ethan,
Thank you so much for the stars and the kind words! More or less all features are implemented; locking vehicle is missing though.

A good, simple app, but two additions would make this 5 star (for post 2019 vehicle): 1) Climate timer - would be useful to have a weekly timer (also relevant for point 2). 2) A battery start scheduler. I understand the Leaf API has no stop charging function(!?), but the ability to set the start of charge would be useful such that it could be switched off manually in the morning. The API does not need to change - the timing to switch battery/climate on can be built into the app!

Hello Rob,
Nothing is impossible of course but the important question is will it work reliably? I say no. The API itself is unreliable and you can't always rely on its data being a fact. Building a scheduler around this I don't think is worth the effort and might end up being more confusing to users.
I hope you understand and thanks again! ๐
