The online world penetrates more and more the daily life of citizens and therefore Digital Literacy has become one of the key competences to ensure social cohesion, active citizenship and personal fulfillment.
Citizens who do not have access and skills needed to use the internet are disadvantaged in many ways.
In order to fulfill this information gap, Hand in Hand India as part of its Digital Learning program initiatives, has developed “SamVaad” a Learning Experience delivery platform with the grant support from Indus Towers Limited and Vodafone Foundation. This aims to impart functional skills on smartphones and thereby the usage of mobile internet in everyday life.
This app provides learning content in the form of videos and manuals in different regional languages, designed for the digital learning program more so for the rural population.
