Instructions font size too small to read. Looks like it could be a good game, graphics seem to to have a nice Carcassone flavour to them but unfortunately the text of the instructions is minuscule on my Nexus 5 so I can't actually read them to find out how to play. It would be nice if there was some way to increase the font size. In game UI buttons and tile legend could be bigger by the looks of things also. Perhaps a zoom function or sth. Two stars until this is fixed.
Entertaining little game but very dependent on luck
Quite a Thinker Good strategy puzzle game. Takes a close look at the scoring rules to understand. Would be great if there was a running total of your border knights' strength. There is room to do this and it would allow faster play. Maybe it could be grayed out like the largest knight group. Then, when you reach the threshold for each round, it would become colored. Thank you for not including any intrusive app permissions. I'm pleased.
After 100 games, you'll start to get the hang of it. Good game. I'm addicted to it. But that may be due to an unconscious insistence on figuring the darn thing out. The instructions are, ironically, complete yet insufficient. They tell you how to play and how to score, but that's it. The reason this is important is that DQ does not play as you'll probably be expecting. Read the rules with care, and watch the scoreboard as you place and rotate each tile. Things that score for you or look promising one turn may become instantly expendable the next. (No ads)
UI underdone The graphics and the usability definitely leave a bit to be desired.
Frustrating No matter how carefully you plan, you just don't have enough control to make genuine decisions.
