Review from Karen Lebuhn
Wowee Love my Chicago
slow to respond; frustrating map may or may not have contributed to a difficult trip - seems like it's trying to load webpages as opposed to having quickly available info. would be nice if the map had N/A & streets to help get your bearings. could benefit greatly with exhibit pictures to affirm where you are & what you're in search of...
Pretty much useless. No audio tours showing up. The amenities section is in Chinese or Japanese with no way to update it. The map doesn't tell you what's in each gallery so you still have to consult a paper map. So what's the point?
No need to use this. I'm visiting and thought it would give more insight than the web page. It really wasn't helpful at all. Maybe I'm missing something, or all of these reviews are correct. It's useless
Pretty useless App could never locate me so in order to get any directional help i had to tell it where i was. If i knew that i would just look at the map and find my own way. The map only lists the room numbers which is of no value unless you know which room you want to go to which again if i knew that i wouldn't need the app. Bottom line skip the app and pick up the visitor map, you'll get more information and won't miss stuff while wasting time trying to get the app working.
It is similar to plaques Doesn't seem to have theme-related information, but just groups a few pieces by theme with standard descriptions. Nice to have pictures included with descriptions though, and very nice to take a bit of the museum home to look at later, but doesn't add much to the experience of walking through and looking at pieces up close.
Disappointing. My friend has the audio tour for this museum on her iPhone. There's nothing like that in this app.
Miscellaneous bug fixes.
