Works very well and one of the most convenient, easy to use and straightforward privacy apps I have seen. A few things: snapchat is not granted permission for the camera after an update, some apps are missing (like youtube, has too many permissions but is not shown in the list. An option can be to add your own app) and in the quick notification that appears after an app updates, not all permissions are shown.
Question: How do you expect people to uninstall? Uninstalling bricked my device!!!! Wouldn't boot and just hung. I tried everything and finally resorted to flashing a custom ROM. I'm CS as well and have been around the block...This wasn't operator error on my part. Your app as a concept? Seriously? You guys are the most prestigious Comp Sci institution on the planet...You gotta have a little more wow factor than this. Criticism is perhaps harsh, but it should be when you are #1 :)
Works for me. Found a bunch of permissions that I would have denied if I knew about them but didn't originally notice when I installed the apps.
Worked on my rooted Nexus 4 running 5.1.1. took some time to process all the apps, but then confirmed that my settings are good :)
