Used to be great Great tool to help you figure out what app is power consuming. *Also still useful to see if the screen resolution app u have is really lowering the power consumption or simply adding a layer of shade. Beside that, other apps will help you troubleshoot your battery issues. Why does the app consume so much power? Not much a problem when u need answers. Why was the app dropped? No updates in 3 years. This used to be my tool of choice for real time power management. I'll still refer to it when in need.
Works great. Works great on my Nexus 7 and Galaxy S3. It does use battery so I wouldn't recommend running it all the time, but very helpful when you want to see what other apps use a lot of power. I've deleted apps that I really didn't need once I used this app to see what battery hogs they were.
A useful app Thanks for developing this app. This is the most accurate app I've ever launched for battery consumption. But it's regret that wifi chart doesn't work. I hope you will continue to develop and improve this useful app.
Inaccurate. Hasn't been updated in two years Good idea, but no longer produces accurate data. "App Tune-up Kit" is much better at system power estimation.
Don't listen to the shills who slam PowerTutor. Start PT then Start Profiler and return to desktop without closing PowerTutor. Return to PowerTutor later for accurate analysis of what exactly is hoggin your battery and jettison the rude apps that want to take control of your device to the bit bucket. PowerTutor rules. Using it I've tuned my devices for great battery use.
Looks great, outdated software This would be 5 stars easily but wifi stats don't work with marshmallow 6.0.1. Bluetooth isn't accounted for either. Wish the dev who made this would pick the code back up...
