CareTaker is a mobile app that allows users to learn skills, organize and share health information for dealing with emergencies, keeping track of daily routine treatments, attending appointments, and communicating with providers. CareTaker can be used for taking care of yourself, a child, or an adult with health care needs.
CareTaker can be managed for self-care or for coordinating someone else’s care. You can read information about care management skills, watch examples of situations where these skills can be used, and enter and track personalized information. Information entered can be shared via a variety of formats (such as email messaging).
CareTaker is the result of a collaboration among University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Medical College of Wisconsin, and Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Part of the content was created with support from grant R40 MC 08960 from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
