It's app designed without any input from the drivers using it. It's hardly changed in the past 3 years and needs a lot of work. Basic but very necessary things. It's just too slow and convoluted to use during busy times. But the most bizarre element of the app, is how the driver score is calculated. If the customer cancels their taxi, the drivers score goes down. Even if the customers cancels 10 seconds after ordering, Bolt blame the driver, and the driver is penalised.

It freezes all the time. If I press accept it stays in that screen for ever and I have to switch it off and on for it to go to the arrived option. I can't even send msgs or make a call let alone responding to a rider when he/she calls. And riders get frustrated and furious with me bcoz they think I am not answering them on purpose. And when I end the trip always give an error and app will continue as I have not finished the trip. Frustrating!!!

My app is working perfectly now. Before now I will get a ride but can't call or message my rider as my app couldn't display their contacts and that made me cancel a lot of rides because I will get to the destination for pick up and can't reach or find my rider. Then I will be compared to cancel that order. And this really affected my rating. All that is gone now.
