Ratings and reviews

The integration of personality type and matching interests is great. It's been smooth to setup and get started with viewing potential matches without paying anything. From what I can see, showing further interest beyond liking their profile requires a subscription? I'm still exploring it so I'm not sure of all the limitations on a free account yet, but the subscription price is very reasonable for anyone serious about meeting people. Great app so far!

It's not bad so far, my only complaint is that supposedly you can set it up so that people over a certain age and past a certain area don't see you, but I get more 30+ year olds from across the world wanting to add me than anything lol. I do like that when I scroll on people's posts, I don't see as much negativity as say on Instagram. Also, not having ads is heavenly and I hope they never ever change it.

Just like every other dating app, unless you've got it going on, you'll probably end up needing to buy the subscription just to get matches. I haven't even received a single like in the past 2 months, even though I've been consistently active and updating my profile. However, when I did pay for the subscription, I was able to meet someone and got exactly what I want from an app like this, which is a first for me. So I'd recommend trying boo out before any other app personally.
