MyChart app is very good as it lists all the necessary information, visits, test results and most importantly letters and medications. Only downfall is that its not interactive, unlike the NHS app. You can't send messages or book appointments unless they have been booked already. Hence have given it a 4 star.

Notification of new test result, then TRs won't display - round in circles. Flaky and inconsistent. On first informing me of an appointment it displayed full info of clinic, physician, etc, but later there's no way to revisit this content. Great shame we have to use an American company to provide this mediocre stuff, but there's probably no alternative this side of the pond. Infantile name for the app.

If you don't know how to reach them, email us at MyChartSupport@epic.com, let us know the issue and the organization name and we can look up their contact info for you.

Not very User friendly. It is very difficult to get back to some of the letters when you want to ask some questions. It works on some letters but not all of them. I find the app quite frustrating. It seems more focused for the Hospital staff rather than the patient..They get to tick all their boxes. Some of the information is really good and is brilliant to be able to view it when it's convenient. Contacting the letter writers is very hit & miss.

What’s new

A new homepage card allows you to opt in to sharing your health data through Care Everywhere. COVID-19 information no longer appears before logging in to your organization. You can now share PDFs from other apps to MyChart. These changes might become available to you after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic.
