• Schedule and manage appointments, including in-person visits and video visits.
• Get price estimates for the cost of care.
• View and pay your medical bills.
• Securely share your medical record from anywhere with anyone who has Internet access.

• Receive push notifications when new information is available in MyChart. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app.

Note that what you can see and do within the MyChart app depends on which features your healthcare organization has enabled and whether they’re using the latest version of Epic software. If you have questions about what’s available, contact your healthcare organization.

To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organization. To sign up for an account, download the app and search for your healthcare organization or go to your healthcare organization’s MyChart website. After you’ve signed up, turn on fingerprint authentication or set up a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your MyChart username and password each time.

I have to be honest, I'm not great with technology. My doctor's had told me about my chart for years and I always brushed it off. I prefer old fashioned phone calls to hear a human voice. But once I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I had a lot more questions, I needed more help. MyChart is amazing at organizing my meds, refills, appointments, etc. I get everything I need in one spot. Seeing my test results helps me ask informed questions. Refills are a snap.

Previous updates have ruined this app. You can no longer schedule appointments for any 'regular' appt. Only for scans, MRI, ultrasounds, mammogram, etc. Extremely unhelpful! Also, the alerts don't come through anymore informing you of upcoming appointments, messages, or test results. These were the BEST features of this app, and now they're gone and/or don't work. They only got 2 stars because I can still see my test results, albeit in the most chaotic way. But that's how it's always been.

Many aspects of MyChart are controlled by your own healthcare organization through settings. Please reach out to them for support. You can change the notifications you receive and where they are sent in the Communication Preferences activity in the Menu near Account Settings. If you have more questions, please email us at MyChartSupport@epic.com.

I seemed to have lost a lot of my information because I could not log in. Everytime I tried to log in, I would get a message about try again password or log in does not work. I had the same passwords for all accounts, and I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall the app and change the password. After doing that, I seemed to have lost 3 accounts. It worked fine until this last update

What’s new

These features might become available to you after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic.
