MyChart is an ok repository for medical records, but it's not great for setting appointments or for communication with doctors. There are different confusing ways to contact the practice and half the time they don't seem to get my messages. For appointments I've found in most cases it's a lot easier to just call by phone. There is a lot of functionality here, but in terms of usability, the site and the app are not intuitive. They need to hire some better user experience design professionals.

I use My Chart at least once weekly. It's convenient, easy to use and accurate. I recommend everyone to use it. It cuts down on having a bunch of papers. It's eco friendly. I'm a senior citizen, and somewhat computer savvy, but I guarantee that it is easy and fun to use. The best feature to me is, being able to order refills on needed meds and track them.

Up until the last update, the app has worked well. However, since said update, the app has been continuously crashing, which makes it impossible for me to send a message to my provider's billing team. (And the reason I need to contact them is that all but one of my billing encounters have suddenly disappeared without a trace, which makes it impossible for me to pay them off - I've confirmed with the billing team over the phone that I do have existing balances.)
