PictoDicto is an app that offers users a basic method of learning and communication in a new language. Accessibility-oriented, the app allows users to interact using pictograms, which, once selected, show the chosen term in the original language and the language to be translated to, with its writing and pronunciation. The app can be used both as a learning tool and a basic communication dictionary.
Supported by the core vocabulary of the ARASAAC center (https://beta.arasaac.org/), PictoDicto is a simple pictographic application for practicing and learning new languages and communicating basic concepts. The languages available are Spanish, Galician, English, Arabic, simplified Chinese, and Ukrainian.
Its main goal is the integration of people who need augmentative and alternative communication, as well as migrant people in the process of learning a new language.
