Free version works OK, few bugs The app collapses everytime I tried to check the history tests. The free version is very basic, but it works well.
fast improvement in reading partitures I actually bought the full version, very cheap, totally worth it. Has some other options (answers the complaints I saw listed below) and it's easy to use. Helped me get back my reading speed after a long break
Simple, but affective. It does not teach you the notes, so you'll have to look it l them up. However simple it is effective as a flashcard app with both read and write flashcard style drills.
February of 15' I received my purple trumpet this app helped me to further grasp the scale. Then I bought two young men their trumpets April 17', one trumpet is purple and the other is blue but it is helping me to help them achieve and understand the scale! They are doing so well with me introducing them to this app allowing them to have fun and learn at the same time; Plus this is an awesome game!
For piano, a very linear instrument, this app is confusing and possibly teach bad habits. Higher note buttons sometimes below lower note answer buttons since there is only one button for each note family. For instance, C in all octaves uses the same button. Thus, the middle G button is above both middle C (correct) and high C (incorrect).
Very helpful. Crashes if you try to look at historical test results, but that's unimportant.
Out of time dialog is harder to dismiss unwantedly.
