Just like the classic pac man of yesteryear.. I just kept wondering when will it all in! Awesome game but after getting every booster and unlocking the stages then whats next. Can their be like a checkered flag at the end lol just a little something to say"congrats". But awesome update love the glitch feature.

Lost everything I was playing the game after an ad had a connection error but then the game started bugging out and lagging like crazy, then the black ghost killed me and the game crashed so I closed the app and opened it again only to find it had lost all of my data! I liked the game but this just ruined it

Dude everyone listen up Dis is the most addictive thing I've ever played. When u get really far and u feel invincible and your score us like 10000 u feel so accomplished. This really just is a great game and one you get that 10000 score... You need to get higher than that... Once u get that high score, immediately after you want to beat it, then when you do, you have to beat that score. Very few game make you want to keep playing like this game does. Add this with the incredible art style and colorful atmosphere you just love it. Good job Namco and Hipster Whale. This app is in my top 5 favorite games ever. I applaud you.

Loved until lastest update I loved the opportunity of playing without powerups on the field, now i cant even disable my powerups. If you only allowed us to disable powerups willingly i would give it a 5 star but that really bothered me. Its a great game but i dont understand why you guys took that option away.

Epic Can't say I found a game more enjoyable in free time aswell as while waiting for something. A real do any time anywhere game. Perfect control once you got the hang of it. Found little to no glitches (besides the big one chasing you ;D ) but in total a truly fun? awesome and simple game.

This game is pretty fantastic and plays really well and provides much challenge the further you get. My only issue with it atm is that it's prone to crashes on menus such as the theme menu or powerups, luckily though there's no crashes during actual game play. Very well made, good job 🖒

Great concept, fun gameplay, outstanding that players are allowed to save in-game points to spend in place of real-world money on cosmetic items in the shop. Only complaint is that Pacman sometimes ignores inputs and either keeps going or turns in a completely random direction. As an artist with very dextrous, narrow fingers I can assure you that it's not me, Pacman just has his own ideas about what he would rather do a quarter of the time.

I like it. It definitely adds to the fun now that it's endless and i believe that it brings back for most adults a lot of the joy they had playing Pacman' along with some new things. The graphics are dope, the gameplay is great and it controls well. I got addicted to this game when I got it. I personally enjoyed it and i reccomend this to PacMan fans.

The game is pretty solid, but it's nothing that special. Sometimes the game can seem a bit unfair because you can get trapped with unavoidable death and nothing you can do to stop it, but it doesn't happen all too often. All in all an average game, and it's free, so I mean get it if you want.

Lost all my power ups after connection error So I had gained all my power ups and grinded most of them up and level 10. Then I had a connection error and there was a problem loading the ads. The next time I opened the game, everything was GONE, even my in-app purchases. Screw this. I am sticking with the Steam version. I am as of now deleting this from my tablet.

A pleasant distraction Surprisingly addictive and fun take on the Pac-Man concept, games quick enough to squeeze one in while waiting for a bus, but be careful you don't miss your stop because of "Just one more go". It is annoying that you have to go back to the menu between each game though.

Did a great job I always shy away from new pac man game because they can't capture that old retro feel. But this one not only did that but it provided new mechanics while doing so. It's a prefect mix between retro and modern. I've been playing nonstop since I downloaded. Will not disappoint.

It's a great game as i love Pacman. However the controls for this app don't always register as it should. Everything will be going great then all of a sudden your turn doesn't register as you having swiped that direction and you run into a wall or go down a wrong turn because of this. Fix this and I will be happy. I'm thinking it's because this app plays at an angle but the controls are not so you swipe in the correct direction but the phone doesn't pick up on the diagonal swipes when that's how the game is, diagonal. 👻 Then you die via ghost :(

Played it on Steam, works here too There are certainly differences in the the way powerups and upgrades are acquired in this mobile version. I didn't like at first that the various boards must be purchased, until I remembered that the Steam version wasn't free, but this version is. I'm seeing smarter implementation of ads in casual games, and Pacman256 is a good example of this.

I grew up playing Pac-Man, and this game brings back great memories. I absolutely love this game. Only thing wrong about it right now...it keeps crashing. It'll stay on for like 30 seconds then just shuts off and goes back to my home screen. Please fix!!

Reinstall... poor experience Game play is top notch. However, after a reset of my phone accompanied by a reinstall of the game all my power ups were gone.(I even purchased a theme pre reinstall, i figured that might "lock in" all my achievements... the theme did come back... but no power ups) Really!?! Do I blame Google games or Bandai Namco? Please fix that, thank you.

Good challenge, dicey permissions 256 was fun to get. Try 100ish? Permissions are peculiar. Sucks mobile data when wifi connected. Hey, fixed those on 2016 Fall update, thanks! But it now stops podcasts/music in background even outside of ad display!! Mazes very different and riddled w. microgaps in dots...bah!

great nostalgic fun, with a twist - bottom of the map is constantly getting destroyed so you basically have to keep going up, avoiding the myriad if ghosts, while scarfing powerups to deal with them or avoid them. great game! 6\12\17 they added a new power up, great addition.

This is easily the best twist on the classic Pac-Man formula in years. Cool power-ups, solid artstyle, addictive gameplay. I especially love the different themes, & the return of the extended Ghost Gang from Pac-Mania. The only thing I'm somewhat bummed out about in this game is the absence of Ms. Pac-Man. It's been a while since she's been in action, & I would've loved a hypothetical new alternate/"hard" mode featuring her. Aside from that, though, this is absolutely the best that mobile gaming has to offer.

Love the game but it hates my tablet Crash prone Pac-Man 256 is fun & addictive. Unfortunately, it fails to load properly on my Galaxy Tab 3 no matter how many bug fixes the app goes through. Bummer. Maybe another company can do this game better in the future.

Great game, my highest score after having it less than a day is 7985, I just had a Blinky in the maze & just as he ate me he stopped but had 3 eyes??? The only problem is that on my Galaxy S7 it keeps on freezing, closing or stopping for a few seconds so now I rate it 3 stars & not 4 like I first did

This game is very simple, but yet addicting, fun, and you do not want to stop. I am just speaking from my perspective, I am not just giving out a b.s. review. I suggest you try it though, while your on break at work, bored, just figuring out something to kill time, it takes 5 seconds to download, why not give it a try, if you do not like it that's fine. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I have.

It is a fun take on PacMan, but... It is odd that the the theme I picked gets reset back into the first theme, so it is a bit annoying to have to go back and switch my theme every time I start up the app. And also a lot of powers ups are seemingly meh. Like how Giant is seemingly almost the same as the power pellet minus the slow ghosts. What makes a lot of the power ups meh is how they don't individually change my play style, a lot of them I would just play the same as a power pellet. Where I just use it to run through the ghosts.

No unlimited restart The game on my Samsung Galaxy Express 3 is laggy but playable. They did away with the unlimited restart playable option, which was $8 I was willing to spend. I got the $5 coin double and extra coin option because the standard theme was nearly unplayable for me, the classic theme is the way to go. If laggyness was fixed and unlimited restart feature was added, I would date a 4.5.

It is so much fun My fiance and I are constantly playing it and beating each other's high scores. It's a great game and very addicting. I highly recommend to anyone who likes a good challenge! It will most definitely keep you on your toes

It's good to see some 80s-based games available in modern-day gaming platforms, especially on my Android phone. I wasn't around in the 80s but PAC-Man works well on our generation's mobile phones. 5-star it is.

I had unlocked all power ups and 80's theme too! I played the game with Google play games sign in. I uninstalled the app and installed again i had sign in through play games but powerups are not unlocked! Developers please help!!

Functional, sufficient distraction The original formula married to the unlimited map hit-and-run mechanic, this title doesn't disappoint (when your expectations are kept realistic). Numerous power-ups bring their own twist to surviving each corridor and corner of Pac-Man's maze, and no doubt cater to one and all.

Really cool new way to play Pac-Man! Only reason it's not 5 stars is because some of the Power Ups feel totally useless like Tornado and Twinnado (both are horrible at tracking ghosts). Magnet and Regen feel like carbon copies of each other and so do Shatter and Freeze. Would really like to see those ones replaced with more creative abilities. The other Power Ups work great and can save your life when you're in a pinch!

Fun time waster, wish there were more neat powerups I played a lot, at first, and now I pick this game up now and again. I wish they would introduce some new power ups to spice things up a bit! There are a few that are basically worthless compared to others... How about upgrades for power pellet? Or a speed booster? Or a "giant" power that was actually different from the power pellet? Or a "glitch" teleport power? Or a "stealth" that gave points instead of just being a lame power pellet? Or, or, or... Get creative!

Progress was erased! Ive been logged in look at my achievements. I had over 4K coins and 2 away from all the power ups. Now I'm staring at enabling freeze... I'll be uninstalling this complete time waster shortly unless devs can restore progress.

BEWARE - your progress may NOT be saved! The game is enjoyable, even though I like playing without power-ups and they took that option away. Three times now, after unlocking everything, I start up the game and it has reset for no reason. I did not change devices, my app is up-to-date, no problems with my Google account, new phone I got only last year, and I tried the 'Restore Purchases' option, uninstalling / reinstalling - nothing worked. I contacted them and they said they can't do anything about it. I will not go through all of that for a forth time. Goodbye, uninstalling.

I had to uninstall TWO apps and had to re-attempt the download 3-4 times before I had enough storage, only to get a message stating that my hardware doesn't support this application!!! HOW ABOUT PUTTING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS IN THE DESCRIPTION NEXT TIME SO I DON'T WASTE MY TIME FREEING UP STORAGE ON MY TABLET!! Or better yet, HAVE YOUR PROGRAMMERS GET OFF THEIR LAZY BUTTS AND HAVE THIS GAME SUPPORT ALL ANDROID HARDWARE!! IT'S NOT THAT HARD PEOPLE!!!!!

Amazing game! Controls are simple and easy to use. Graphics are (wait, since when do I judge something by graphics? I never judge anything by their graphics) amazing. Also why are people complaining about ads? I play another game with an ad every time you click on the main screen. So stop complaining people. I have yet to see an annoyance of ads. My only problem in this game is Shadow ("Blinky" to some of you). I just woke up this morning and that is all I died to. Good game anyways!

I bought the Beam powerup just because. Anyway, I only really have two complaints: the Power Pellet cannot be upgraded, and new powerups take too long to unlock and can't be hurried with coins. Three complaints. The controls are a little iffy at times, making quick maneuvers nigh impossible.

Great game, but the advert pop-ups are agonizing. The game itself is great, if a bit shallow in the end. Has a bunch of power ups to unlock, but this is done through the collection of coins- your score itself is completely pointless. As for adverts, the he game gets to convince you to watch one for more coins constantly, and sometimes when at the menu screen, which you have to return to after every while, you will sometimes get a full screen pup-up advert.
