ATTENTION TMO Users! This app DOES NOT.. *REPEAT* DOES NOT Bypass T-Mobile's HOTSPOT FEATURE. For those looking for a way to avoid paying the fees associated with HOTSPOT usage This is not THE APP! The DEVELOPER says it, I'm saying it. App works great like expected from CHAINFIRE. Eh Worked flawlessly on a boost Mobile moto e 2nd gen...for a week. Now I get the tethering message from Sprint and it fails to connect to the internet. I see that it's not MEANT to do truly bypass that, but its disappointing that it did so for a week and then stopped despite no updates being done to the phone or app
Nothing Suprising These guys don't stop killin these apps!!!! EVERY APP WORKS EVERYTIME! Everything I've ever downloaded from them has always worked exactly as described. The youtube vids are a cherry on top. What more do you want??!! Send these guys donations and spread the love. This is how global commerce should be. Many blessings.
Nice try I believe this app is for phone without the ability to turn on hotspot u really thought this would fix the block at&t imposed on my S4 preventing hotspot from turning on. All the did was tried and took me back to error like before. Better luck next time.
Excellent! I have a Str8 Talk Galaxy Centura. Str8 talk doesn't allow hotspots. My phone is rooted with custom rom and oc kernel from androidarea 51. This app now let's me create a hotspot and actually use it. SHOUT OUT TO THE DEVELOPER!!!
Excellent I read one of the reviews which said someone had never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so after downloading this app. I was skeptical, but now I find myself doing the same thing. First review ever written, for this elegant and simple app. Works exactly as advertised for my Verizon galaxy note 2. Props for the excellent app chainfire.
- Added (automatically detected) feature to fix the issue with some devices that do not have cellular data capability (like the Nexus 10) that they do not give out IP addresses. Unfortunately this does require root to fix.
