Works just like the f.lux on the PC when in root mode, but when it's enabled, phone gets much less smooth and response time is higher. (and I don't have crappy phone, I've got 37K in Antutu).
Works great on my MotoX and Nexus9 What I love most is you can also use this to tweak your normal RGB levels. My N9 screen has a slight green tint, which I can correct with this app.
Mostly good It works very well apart from that it changes to night mode instantly despite having it set to gradually change. I've tried different lengths from a couple of minutes to an hour, but it always changes to night mode instantly at sunset.
This is working nicely in CF.lumen performance mode on the S7 Edge running stock Samsung firmware. A problem with such software rendering is that screenshots/-casts aren't exempt from filtering, which could be a significant enough hindrance to kill one's interest in the app. Although CF.lumen does offer hardware rendering via the KCAL driver, you'll need a ROM that supports it; and that's in addition to the requirement of a rooted device. If you're not rooted, your only recourse is rootless mode, which utilises a screen software overlay. This not only results in inferior rendering, but will tint otherwise unlit black pixels on AMOLED screens, illuminating them and causing increased battery usage. You'll also have to contend with Android's security kicking in and preventing you from tapping buttons in your apps that it believes could have been overlaid with invisible malware replacements. Your mileage will definitely vary when using this app, but it's very nice. Use in sunset mode for a few hours and then turn it off to see just how horrible all of that blue light is.
Great features, but.. Do you really need to have a permanent (undismissable) notification in the notification tray asking to "upgrade to pro"? Instant uninstall.
My phone's flying away The CF.lumen Compatibility driver gave me around ~50ms touch lag; KCAL gives none. Switching from the regular driver to KCAL makes my phone fly so fast, it's fricken flying away.

If you are having performance issues since last update, try changing the driver mode from "compatibility" to "performance".
Flashing the original colors and the filter disappearing may also be fixed by this.
