INFINITELY better than the legions of poor, screen-overlay types of this style app. I can't root my current handset to use f.lux so this is a great alternative. Colors are far more natural, location settings work properly and gradually. If this (and f.lux for that matter) can perform the deeper color changes in the future without using root, its an easy 5-stars, until then it's a solid 4. We'll done. Thank you.
So much better than the popular ones. But it's Missing something. I can't transfer money via my mobile banking app when the filter is on. Maybe you can add something to it so it switches off when I enter a certain app? And perhaps a custom Quick Settings button? Like the Twilight app has
Really helps me sleep better at night, I get sleepy faster when reading or playing casual games in bed with the low color temperature filter. Also less annoying if you have to check your phone in a dim meeting\conference room.
Looks amazing but is a huge memory hog on nougat. Must have some kind of memory leak issue. Causes device to start crashing 1-2 days after a reboot. Problem goes away after uninstalling cf.lumen.
It works well unrooted, but of course the root driver will always be superior. I wish there was a way to darken the software keys in non-root mode. Otherwise this is a great app whether rooted or unrooted (I'd recommend using the app when rooted though).
The screen keeps flickering with Magisk active. And yes, I've tried to select the anti-flickering driver but wasn't applied at all. It reverted back to compatibility. F.lux is the new way to go for me.
CF.lumen driver now also works in Performance mode on various Nougat devices, and the grayscale filter has been upgraded from a toggle to saturation slider.
