App has a good layout and is easy to understand/use. Unfortunately it didn't work for me - looking to have my Pixel 7's alarm (music) play on a BT speaker and not the phone's internal speaker. Currently it plays on both even after changing alarm volume levels for each device with BVM. If you could include a simple clock/alarm into BVM that gives the ability to direct the alarm's sound to the device of choice that would be awesome!!!

Hey J H, Matthias here. BVM can only tweak volumes per device, it can’t choose where alarms are routed. Android mirrors alarms to phone + BT on Pixels, so my app can’t stop the phone speaker. Bundling a custom alarm clock is on my idea list though. If you want to dive deeper: support@darken.eu

It's a solid, simple app. The premium feature I will definitely pay for, similar to Samsung's free Sound Assistant (I have a Sony phone now), is the ability to "step" the volume at finer increments. I like to listen to music, podcasts, etc. as I go to sleep. I want the level at something like 0.2%. That way I'm not awakened later. Even 1% or 2% volume can seem like it's blaring after you fall asleep. Maybe I have sensitive hearing.

I relied on this app heavily with my last phone. Even bought the full version. I had a Motorola whose default was to set the volume at 50% every time it connected to Bluetooth, which was startlingly loud with headphones and too quiet for the car. I don't think I could have tolerated that without this app, and it was really easy to setup. Another major bonus is how you can have it open an app and hit play when it connects to certain devices, so my music would start on its own in my old car. A++
