New Recruit is an all around tool for tabletop game players.

New Recruit is an Army List builder compatible with a long list of tabletop games such as Warhammer 40,000, The Old World, The Ninth Age, Horus Heresy, and many more.
It is compatible with Battlescribe files so you can easily import all your rosters in ros or rosz format.

New Recruit lets you organize and join tournaments using different formats like swiss round, direct elimination, double elimination.

You can also record your game results, both friendly and tournament games, view interesting stats about your play, win rate with different factions, which units give you the best win rate, etc...

Ratings and reviews

Gets better as you use it more. UI is archaic but makes more sense as you get used to it. Love the resource and gladly pay for premium rather than buying codexes. would love to see unit composition and weapon loadout allotment in list building. Would also love the ability to assign units to transports similar to how the leader assignment works. If we could get these two things I don't think there is anything else that would be needed. Use it everytime I play and build a list.

I've been using this since Battlescribe died and gladly support them. The UI is responsive and reliable syncing across all devices is great. There are a few things I don't like; some of the buttons end up too small on my phone, even with the layout updates, for instance. But compared to the competition, well, there's no competition!

the perfect army building app, updated promptly and maintained by small groups of passionate tabletop gamers. The free version is more than enough, with subscriptions being basically donations that give you access to little bells and whistles. Sometimes there are logic bugs or inaccuracies but these are small inconveniences considering how much easier the app makes it to build armies.
