Could be better I slightly prefer the app, Seconds Pro, because of its versatility. This app will be nicer when it allows for having different number of sets, reps, and timing for each grip. For example, in the book, the intermediate strength workout has one set for the warm-up jug, and two sets for the subsequent grip exercises. There doesn't appear to be a way to set that up with the current functionality of the timer. Also, it would be nice if more of the workouts from the book were included without having to set up a
Awesome. I just did my second beginner hangboard workout, and used this for 3 weeks of base training. It's excellent. Update: I'm on my third season and I still love this app. I don't have to worry about timing my workouts. This thing takes care of it all.
I love this app! However, lately it's been crashing a lot. On average, it crashes about twice per workout... It's usually during the rest, so it's not a huge deal, because I can just restart and skip ahead. Hope it will get fixed soon though!
I like the features and the workouts but the app does crash quite a bit, always at the end of a break, where then you lose your place with respect to sets completed. I've sent some repro steps, so hopefully that helps with troubleshooting. The workaround to prevent the crashing: don't browse away from the app while it's timing.
Really well thought out and designed app, but I wish it logged how much additional weight (or counterweight assist) you use for each grip, and showed that to you before the next workout.
FEATURE REQUEST: Please let users set default weights for each rep/hold, either as added or subtracted weight. This could later be added to the spreadsheet update so you can track your weight progress. The app is only so useful if you still have to log everything separately. Most general fitness apps have a way to store historical weight data to track progress. This would give this a 5/5 for me.
