SD Maid allows you to:

• Manage installed user and system apps.
• Detect files formerly belonging to uninstalled apps.
• Search for files by name, content or date.
• Obtain a detailed overview of your devices storage.
• Optimize databases.
• Do actual app cleaning and remove expendable files, which supersedes what others may call 'cache cleaning'.
• Detect duplicate pictures, music or documents, independent of name or location.
• Run tools automatically on a schedule or via widgets.

SD Maid has optional features that utilize the AccessibilityService API to automate tedious actions.
Using the AccessibilityService API, SD Maid can click buttons for you to perform operations on multiple apps, e.g. deleting caches or force stopping apps.
SD Maid does not use the AccessibilityService API to collect information.

I recommend SD Maid (Pro) for anyone wanting to maintain their phone's performance. It's excellent for cleanly uninstalling unwanted apps and includes helpful features like a corpse finder, system cleaner, app cleaner, and database maintenance tools. The app can detect duplicate files and works with ROOT permissions. SD Maid (Pro) is essential for keeping your phone running smoothly.

Does everything it says it does and very well at that. Be careful when messing around with the settings for system cleaner and what types of files you want it to scan for, it's a great feature because its so thorough, but you must respect its power. It's not like the file explorers and cleaners you're used to. I bought the pro version and months ago, extremely worth every penny!

I have tried several of these apps before, but this app actually does its job...it removes cache, and creates more RAM. Also noticed my battery lasts longer, even when using you tube. I never had popup ads, but some of my apps have an ad within, that won't close when tapping the corner X. Maybe someday this app will block ads in apps. Anyway, thank you!!!
