I've amended my review upwards after managing to get my Phantom 5 to connect to the app on my Samsung tablet. Unfortunately there are still gaps - the app is no longer picking up cadence. None the less there is an improvement compared to not picking up any sensors at all.
Poor design choice for picking your DOB. Great, if you were born in the near past, not last century.
Nice, but why no firmware update via the iOS app? I use all platforms - Windows PC, MacBook, iPhone, Android phone/tablet - but I wanted to use the app on my iPhone to update the firmware on my CycleOps Magnus. Found out the hard way this feature was missing so I downloaded this instead & performed the update, no biggie!
Update: I eventually figured out that I have to reconnect the sensors from my bike and it now works. It was not easy to figure out with a generic trainer which doesn't have sensors. I'll give it another shot..thank you for the reply.
Hurry up and return your cycleops and get a Tacx and use their free app. The Tacx app is free for as long as you want with more free features. This app does not even save your settings. Cadence does not work anymore.
I had the same problem with my Wahoo kickr until I updated the firmware on my kickr you have to download Wahoo app to do it now R ouvy can see my kickr snap. Hope this helps.
