I love this app. It is exactly what it claims to be, neither more nor less. My only complaint is the sound used to play the intervals, which is unusable at the top and bottom of the total selectable register (on the lowest notes there are only clicks and the notes in the highest register for some reason sound very strange). It would be nice to have a variety of different timbres or at least have a timbre that is reasonably consistent throughout the entire span of pitches so that you can practice in all registers. I would also love a separate trainer which deals with pure intervals instead equal tempered ones and the ability to practice vertical intervals would be great. That being said it is a fantastic app.
I have loved every part of this app. I used it with my high school students last year and will continue to do so. The only thing I would change is have some way that students could send feedback back, including how many they got correct.
Great app for practical development of useful intonation skills. It could be useful to have more timbres added, and there might be a better way to present a failed question, but this app is absolutely useful.
So far I am loving the training I have been getting out of it.
Really excellent to train the ear.
Innovative idea I can tell that I am improving already because of the graphing feature! I highly recommend this app to anyone who is interested in ear training.
