The app is still free of charge and does not contain any ads. The development of the Weather app continues: next we will publish new widgets, among other things.

Our Weather app provides weather information for almost all Finnish municipalities. If you enable location on your phone, the service will automatically show your location forecast for up to 10 days. Are you only interested in temperature or do you also want information about pressure, wind gusts or the UV index? Both weather forecasts and weather observations allow you to choose which weather data you want to see. You can also save your favorite locations in Finland and abroad on the app and browse them easily. The information is available as tables and graphs. The animations in the map section allow you to follow, for example, the movement of rainfall areas, and the rain forecast based on radar images shows the direction in which rainfall areas will move in the coming hours. The service displays current weather warnings at your chosen location and you can also easily check official weather warnings throughout Finland.

Ratings and reviews

Otherwise highly useful app, but I would definitely like to see also information about pollen and especially more customisation options for the widgets. Now you cannot change any parameters on them except for hourly vs daily forecast.

Last update ruined the perfect weather app. I really liked the previous versions, add free and accurate weather forecasts. But disabling the widget forced me to change for the competitor. Less accurate and full of adds, but I wanted to see the weather right from the home page. The main app is still almost usable, but seeing only 4 days forecast from 10 in portrait mode, is bad UI design in high resolution screens. Colours also made the UI more clear than this back and white theme.

Despite the app being well advanced and informative, the latest update's visual design turned it into a clutteres mess as opposed to the former visual simplicity. Additionally, the widget is gone and that's a big downside due to how useful it was in particular. The developers should definitely re-introduce the older design for anyone wishing to keep what they were used to, as well as bring back the widget. Otherwise, many customers will seek alternative apps.
