As a photographer I thought this would be perfect for backing up to a portable drive. However I've reinstalled the software twice, double checked settings and it simply won't transfer a file from an SD card to anything plugged in to the USB port. VERY dissapointed! Transfer doesn't even appear under the drop down options, never mind the actual transfer icon. Simply non functional on this version.
Great App. Does everything it claims. For those having trouble with the device appearing off line make sure you turn off mobile data first so 4G is not available. It seems confused when both WiFi and 4G are available.
Colin Grey was right, it works fine after you turn off your data, just wish they could fix this, but overall still very happy with the results 😄
The app is ok but could make better use of finger gestures (long press, double tap etc) also: why isn't there a FILE OPEN option?! It would make checking files more usefull if you could use it to select what files to play and maybe even in what order... ALSO cannot search/open media files in other apps which is quite a nuisance... hope this can and will be improved :(
Simple app for backing up files between devices on the go. Worked fine on my Xperia x5c with fast transfers between phone and usb hard drive and sd card. In app icons could do with a make over.
Good news AND bad news. It works well with my Lenovo Yoga tablet and a PC using Win10. However neither of our Samsung Galaxy j5 phones can use it. They are rejected at the 'enter password ' stage. One connected once! But not anymore. All are using Android 6.1 The phones can use the wireless hub, but the inability to connect means file sharing is impossible on these devices. For file sharing I still need to use a separate OTG cable and SD card reader. Really this makes this device and app 66% useless.
