Ratings and reviews

Maybe it's just me or maybe it's limitations during the trial period, but I'm not really seeing much difference in the images generated for each camera type. For some background, I still shoot a lot of Polaroid SX-70 and 600 film. So I was excited to see Polaroid as a choice. However, the images from the app are not those soft, somewhat muted colors and they're just way too sharp. They're also not coming out in the square format. I'll keep playing and see if I can get better results

Be very careful when signing up for this app. There is an advertisement that pops up at the beginning that actually leads to a completely different service and claims it doesn't charge you when, in fact, it does charge you a monthly fee. Make sure you close that ad down first. This is very deceptive and very aggravating. But, despite this trickery, the app works well. Now I've got to go chase down this subscription that I've signed up for and go through the convoluted process of canceling it.

Liking the app so far. I went ahead and purchased the $19.99 Lifetime upgrade. I normally just always use the free version of an app, but this unlocks so many cool effects that I couldn't resist. I like how the app will at least preview what a locked effect would look like, were you to purchase it. This sealed the deal for me, as I want to be able to have all the film simulation modes that the app has to offer. 🙂
