Doesn't work like advertised. . Specifically, after selecting topics and pressing done and getting the message that 37 topics were being followed, when I reloaded the app no topics were being followed. Waste of my time.

Force Close I really like this app and kinda can't do without it but unfortunately since I moved to cm 13, it's crashing every time I try to use it. Please fix the issue as early as possible.

Excellent app before update removed the ACTUAL PAGE FLIP gesture which was really ONLY feature that made the articles a genuine pleasure to read and absorb. Now it only scrolls. What's the point if I can already do that in any webrowser... Your users aren't imbeciles and it isn't rocket science to figure out how to flip a page. Your design team JUST did a poor job of explaining how to with icons and visual language. UNINSTALLING until feature is returned. POINTLESS APP OTHERWISE.

Worst bad when I update Press image open and press image back... Now not anymore press image open. Press again close (won't work) have to press "back button" or press "arrow back" too hassles.. So why not use report every each till fix! AND crash and frozen... Press press nothing till pop wait or force close.. Been clear data/cache still no luck.. Update really f*ck up bad! Nice one flip-team-board what you doing!!!

Alerts never open the right story (?) And so often - like again today - the article fails to load past the landing page. Too much trouble to actually read the item of interest. How about fine tuning the core function of delivering the "news" instead of focusing on making your app sticky 1/5/16 good support. will update after trying their suggestions.

If clearing the cache and force-quitting the app in the App Manager doesn't help, try rolling back and then re-updating to the latest version: Go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Flipboard, Uninstall Updates. Now, restart your device and reinstall the Flipboard update. Message us inside the app for more help.

Love the app but recent update did something to seeing images before getting the option to save them as when I am clicking on any particular image it shows nothing but a plain non functional white screen..whereas earlier you use to get an option to view the image, zoom it and then whether you want to save it or not..please fix.. Running Marshmallow 6.0.1 Nexus 6P

Zite Was my all time favorite all encompassing news source. Bought out by this company and killed it. I use flip board because it's the next best thing, but oceans apart in similarity.

Not as Good as it used to be. Playing video is hit or miss if it will actually play and if it does start it usually stops at some point and refuses to continue. This is on my personal WiFi connected to 1Mb/sec fibre. Nexus 7 with Android 6.0. ...This reply from support......" This is a known issue that we are investigating right now. You Jack Assess I was beginning to like Flipboard, but I was just interested by a story teaser about a plane that missed it's landing and killed 7 people. I took your bait and wanted to read the article but a popup blocked the screen. I hit the X to dismiss the popup took me to the ad from the popup. This happened 5 time's in a row. Then I went to delete the app and just before deleting I thought I would give it one more chance, and then the article disappeared. So I went to a competitors website and read the news.

It sounds like that article was from a non-paginated/non partner source. In that case, the article opens in mobile webview. We can't prevent pop-ups that happen in the mobile browser since you are no longer *in* the Flipbaord environment. Thanks for your understanding.

Update - Was Mixed feelings, now Love it! Previous review was "Love it (running v3.3.13) on my Galaxy S5 but installed v3.3.17 on Bush Spira tablet (Android 5.0.1) and it won't run, just get a white screen." However, now, without any update, just a retry, again, its all sprung into life!

Great App I've always found it hard to keep up with current events but Flipboard makes it easy and convenient because you can literally read the news anywhere! You can also choose different topics depending on what you're interested in!

Doesnt load Constantly have to "force stop" app to load new stories. Also, pop up notification stories lead to a dead end. I like the app, but its starting to get annoying having to do the work arounds.

Struggles with too many topics Using on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. If you have 2 to 3 pages worth of topics, Flipboard starts to struggle. Keeping down to 1 to 2 pages seems to be OK. Sure, part of this could be because of the older hardware, and using Android 4.1.2. But still.

Another update please OK app. They update weekly. Rarely works 100%. If it did, they updated, and now it doesn't. Data usage, tap to load is broken, loads everything. Tap to look and tap to go back doesn't work, bring it back

Freezes and no Android Wear support Interface is still good but the widget doesn't have the refresh button, the app freezes a lot when touching links in the stories, and there's no Android Wear support!

Help... Tumblr and twitter work fine but for some reason the Facebook doesn't show my time line. It just shows random things from various pages I've liked on Facebook. I don't see anything at all from any of my friends.

I've been a heavy, heavy daily user for a couple years now. I understand how difficult it must be to maintain a stable app across so many devices and OS versions, but what used to work just fine for a very long time has slowly become unusable for me. For a few months I've waited for updates that have only made the freezes or blank pages worse, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and I've fiddled with settings to no avail. Don't worry developers, I'm not going anywhere, Flipboard and I are far too close... it just happens to break my heart as of late. Note Edge, app freezes several minutes into use or loads blank pages until "active apps" cleared in Android.

Great app. Awful widget My favorite feature of this app used to be that I can get quick news updates from a widget on my home screen. Quick and easy. Got a new phone and this widget does not update. I see very old articles. Most of them are 12/10 and its Christmas

Open the app, tap the profile tab, then the gear icon and “Widget Updates”. Make sure “Hourly” is selected. This needs to be selected for each device you use. Luved it but..... I have never had any problems previously but it seems since last update I have been experiencing issues with reading the articles. Yesterday I couldn't read any unless I viewed them on the Web and today it keeps freezing on me. Please fix or advise so I can give you back the 5 stars you deserve. Thank you.

Poor Imitation of Zite Poor updates. Not even close to being balanced reporting on topics. Some topics rarely updated. I have used FLIPBOARD multiple times a day for over a month and am about to give up. An article about Oprah's mansion ran for days but said it was posted three hours ago. Posts articles with headlines about watching a GoPro shot out of cannon but no video. Articles posted take a certain cultural/political bias and that's the end of it. Flipboard seems more focused on the smoothness of the operating shell, which is good, but the content is really lacking. Want to read about film photography? Not one new article in weeks. Why only three pages?

Here is how to disable both Flipboard and My Magazine. In the Application Manager, find Flipboard and select "turn off" and then "uninstall". To turn off My Magazine, long press an empty area on your home screen. Select “Home screen settings” and uncheck “MyMagazine” Now Flipboard and My Magazine is disabled on your device.

There is a "new" feature on Flipboard - tapping the widget starts up the cover article, like it or not. No way to override this. Thus to see anything else, there are several more steps: 1. Tap and open the article you have no interest in. 2. Tap the tiny icon in the upper left hand corner (certainly this is not obvious). 3. Watch a moving picture and see the word FLIP with an arrow on the left side. 4. Tap the arrow and FINALLY you have arrived at something useful - the old opening screen that gives you a quick overview of your multiple subscriptions. UGG! I HATE this new "feature". Update: 2016 I haven't used Flipboard for the last three years. I decided to try it again, and I find the widgets even more useless than before - they are just brochures to sign up (NOT going to do that). But using the app button works. However, because I am not inspired by a great widget, it is my last choice for news and information.

Always something interesting!! Unlike regular news, which is always the same corruption in politics, Hollywood personality crap, and weather. I can always find something that expands my mind and thinking on subjects I find fascinating. Archeology, bicycling, ecology, healthy, organic foods, and world news that is easily personalized. Soon many topics to choose from.

Good service and great curated articles I used to go for plain RSS feeds and aggregate them all using something like feedly or google reader (RIP). Changing from one format to the other required me to change my mind set aswell. Instead of reading through 100% of the feed articles, and most of them not being worth it, now i read less but well curated articles.

Zite killers Would have rated this app about three stars under usual circumstances. Too much eye candy, the tiles take up too much space without providing information content. But these guys also bought and killed Zite. For that they deserve negative stars. Because Flipboard does not come even close to doing what Zite did so elegantly. The best that can be said about this app is that now it is the best of the poor choices left after Zite's demise

Great Concept, Bad "News" Like the ability find and flip thru articles, but news sources face the same issues as usual...opinion pieces are being sold to readers as true news articles. Why not gather news sources from actual Christian sites for instance, rather than sites finding new ways to propogate false, misleading and damaging opinion articles.

Good app but recent changes made it worse I've been using the app for years and recently been disappointed by the changes in how articles are gathered. For example, the android news section used to be made of articles from good sites like Android Central and Android Authority. Now for some reason most I see says "flipped by random person", don't really see where the article is from and in most cases ends up being from some random site. Why these are now prioritised over the good sites is beyond me. And I don't really care to see who flipped it.

Flip A Page And Get WaterBoarded Fantastic app that immediately crashes the moment you try to flip any article page. Making more than half the articles unreadable! Reply 14/1 - I have sent all the crash reports through Android. Any article page with a flip animation crashes. No problem with scrolling articles. Uninstalled as it is practically useless until you can resolve all this.

bug...bug...bugs I love the content available on Flipboard and the way it is presented. Unfotunately it crashes, freezes and and just plain screws up so often i believe it is time to end the love affair....google news here i come....and yes i cleared cache, cleared memory, uninstalled updates....so many times I can't bear to do it anymore. Contacted Flipboard as suggested to no avail....goodbye cruel app.

New update causing problems again. Never had any issues until 3.0. With the latest update, flip board consistently freezes after backing out of an article and needs to be cleared for it to work properly. I still also dislike the removal of the namesake flipping from the main UI that is still present in the iPad version. On an LG G4. Having to unintelligible and reinstall the app is also a terrible solution, but if it is a known solution to an known issue it should be stated as such in the "what's new" section
