UPDATE: it continually freezes or just goes black. STILL. This has been going on for ages - can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet. Actually seriously considering something else at this point. There are so many similar apps out now, and I use - or have used - some of them, but I still think this has the nicest /coolest interface.

Dear Flipboarders, maybe I would use your app if you didn't try to ram it down my throat so persistently. My next phone will NOT be a Samsung just because of your magazine being so obnoxious. BTW, disabling does not help - it updates and respawns. I am sure you know this.

Loved this app until an update a month or two ago. I don't mind the new format but suddenly pretty much no news items from Huffington Post, National Post etc have comments anymore. And as of yesterday my news is 14 days old and won't refresh. Even tried unfollowing and re-doing feeds... Still nothing. Too bad. This was a great app for news and reading comments which I quite enjoyed. Guess it's time to bite the bullet and uninstall. Bye 😭

Hi team. Either you update your to work on galaxy note 4 edge. Or i am unintalling it. Since 1 year i am waiting for it to work properly. But it doesnt. Also shows errror on widget screeen. If i dont get response from your side in a week I am definitely going to uninstall and write and full review report on social media.

After latest updates it has become unusable. Crashes every few minutes if you are attempting to read an article. I will miss the news feeds, but they are useless when you cannot read anything more than a paragraph Note: please re-train the program that answers the comment. It sent me a note completely unrelated to my complaint. The content is good, but the app crashes before i can read the articlex

I used to have the beautiful Briefing version for my Samsung until it disappeared with a software update. Now I'm stuck with the horrendously annoying interface of Flipboard. So chunky and annoying to use I'm very close to delete it. I miss the simplicity of Briefing. What happened?!

Sorry to hear about the crashing! Sometimes rolling back and then re-updating helps. Open Settings, select Applications, then Manage Applications, choose Flipboard, and select Uninstall Updates. Love the app but why does it give me a push notification about a story and then when I click the notification it doesn't bring me to the story but displays a lot of other stories from the same category but not the one it prompted me to read in the first place. Very annoying. If that gets fixed I would give 5 stars because it's important to me that I read the stories I intended to read without then having to go to other news sites online to find the story.

Crashes on opening since last update. Tried clearing cache and force quit. Unsuccessful. I'm obviously not the only one with this issue. This has been my go to for news feed and now I can't oon it at all. Please patch quickly. Will rank higher when fixed.

Unrealized potential I love, conceptually, what flipboard intends to do. But it falls short consistently. They make improvements over time, but tied to an agenda that does seem to understand the shortcomings of the user experience. It rarely breaks news and going to the app to read about breaking news is disjointed and often more tangential than top story.

Flipboard started out great! But now, the App doesn't show all the photos and the arrow spins and spins trying to surface the image. Nothing happens. Too bad. It seemed great when I first downloaded it. Might be a tech issue...

Over the last few months the freezing and crashing has gotten silly. Now every time you use the app and flip through a few stories it crashes.I've cleared the cache, force-stopped it, still the same thing happens. Oh and as an aside, very bored of medical stories in my Doctor Who feed - when you have to flag several as being off-topic every time you go into it it feels less like a useful app for collating stories and saving time and more like a job!

I love the app!! But I think that it can be better when add the bookmark function. Love the service a LOT. Only downside is that I can't stop it from coming up automatically in the background and depleting my battery. I would like to be able to start the feed when I want and have time, and not constantly. I've tried everything to stop it and can't. I use my phone for business, so the battery drain is a problem.

This app is great in theory as long as it doesn't keep on crashing after literally every 3 articles.. It's always been kind of glitchy, but now it's just unbearable. Yes, I've already tried force quitting the app and clearing out the cache, so don't suggest me to do that. Just fix the bug since this has been a known issue for the longest time, and you know it. I used to love this app, but I'm considering to uninstall and move on if this problem does not get resolved soon.

Extremely partisan with clear economic interests outweighing and genuine aggregate of news, it's actually just another platform for the AP. Many articles critical of globalism never make it to flipboard whilst articles critical of nationalism are unnecessarily highlighted for days. It's very obvious globilst use your app to shape and influence opinion rather than present something as it is.

This a great app. It used to come on when I moved my finger on the screen left to right, but now I have to go directly to the app to see articles. Although that is a bit of a pain, I still find the app a valuable part of my daily routine.

I personally like Flip board to keep me in touch with the world. With Flip board you get a plethora of information at your fingertips. What's even more exciting is that you get to choose from a huge selection of topics to customize viewing pleasures. It's very important to me to keep in touch, yet do so in a timely manner, as I live in a very rural place and I am terribly busy being a wife, mother of 5 and budding entrepreneur! Great job Flipboard!!!

Loved this app on last phone....... Have tried at least ten times to install it on my new pixel...... Over wifi and with wifi selected off using LTE...... Every time I see a message that the app has encountered an error and try again latter...... I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well I give up..... I will not continue to waste my time

A lot of the choices I follow seem to double up making the home page cluttered. However, I really enjoy the way in which the articles are set up in each category, making them easy to read and scroll through.

I like the app but I really wish it had a filter feature where you don't have to view articles that you're not interested in...for instance, I wish I could filter out all stories about the Kardasians...I'm always submitting feedback that I'm not interested in seeing stories on them but they're like roaches that you can't get rid of and when I open the app, every other article is on them. I've gotten so frustrated about this that I don't hardly use it anymore & am about at the point of deleting the app.

are u kiddn. since yhe last update you cant scroll down ur following list anymore. instead the tiles move so all i see is 4. that said widget never updates for years now, ever since the manual update was disabled. you need to open mainapp for widget updates. a joke

This app is the only one that I installed recently, and it's forcing PlayStore app ads to pop up while trying to read articles. Nearly hit Install for a stupid app while trying to flip a page. Will be falling back to Google Newsstand instead. At least that one doesn't ram app store pages down my throat.

You can report these articles with pop ups by either long pressing on the article or tapping on the three dots icon to see your menu options > Report > Intrusive Advertising option.
