Widgets do not update without having to access the main program and even then are temperamental. Used to be good for my news but finding googles new stand more reliable. I've complained about the widgets for years but it has happened on all devices (nexus, one plus Samsung s5 and tab2) needs fixing
It's okay I suppose if you were a liberal person. Flipboard staff, I've read your response to another reviewer with the same problem of an overwhelmingly liberal bias in feeds. You recommended letting it learn from you and and setting your preferences in order to make it know what you want. Well, I've had Flipboard enabled since the S7 came out and all my preferences are set to basically what a hardcore conservative would have and it's been that way for a year or so now. Still very liberal. I had to disable and unsubscribe to the mailing list. Maybe try being a little unbiased for everyone's sake. Good flow of news. If, of course, you are a Trump hating liberal. 2 stars for the basics (up to date and good interface) Content is garbage to someone like me. Sadly there was good potential in this.
The only reason why you are still lagging behind in some regions of india is due to language barrier.... My mother knows to read only Tamil language. So, I disabled your app and installed another app which delivers news in our language. Please, try to add languages to your app and an option to select regional news. It will be nice to see these in your future updates.
I would give it more stars, but it reloads the articles on me after 15-20 seconds. EDIT: figured out the issue, whenever I use the app in another country it does this. Works like a dream at in the US though.
Perfectly curated for my interests. Instead of scrolling and trolling for articles that I'm interested in now I can find them all in one place. This is an app that will never be deleted from my phone. I always check it for the latest news with my morning coffee and then peruse it several times during the day. It captures everything from Amazon to Zen. Love it! 5 stars!
I got more issue that the solution is implemented in iOS but not in Android Let's say I opened 'News' section and scrolled 40 flips deep and then I accidentally pressed back on my device that brings me to the main screen. Now I tapped back to the 'NEWS' section, but.. instead of bringing it back to the 40 flips artictle that I was reading at, it reflips to the 1st page of the article.. And I have to do 40 flips to go back where I was at. Funny to see in iOS I was straight back to where I was at, but in Android it reflips to 1st page
-Bug fixes and performance improvements.
