I love the concept and I have been loving using it. My main issue is that the android app isn't as functional as the iOS app. I have also been having trouble listening and recording. It is possible that this could just be my old worn down phone but I think the android app just needs a little bit of work. I also wish that there was a better way to find creators besides the recently uploaded and the reccomended. I am going to completely charge my phone and restart though to see if it is just me. I'm loving the app though.

Hi Ayman, this usually happens when there's low connectivity since full songs are streamed from Spotify and can't be cached ahead of time. We're working on improvements to this, but in the meantime would recommend toggling off full tracks to resolve this when it happens. Sorry for the inconvenience! Anchor is the app that I've been looking for a long time. It has everything that a podcaster would love to have. This is incredible.
Not sure what happened recently, but the phone option no longer works when checked and automatically uses speaker mode.

Hey Nicholas! So sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting this. Telephone mode listening will be fixed in the very next version of the app, likely later this week. Just discovered Anchor, very much a beginner in utilising it, but like being able share knowledge in the community. I missed yesterdays content though as my phone was playing up. #missedanswertoaquestion
Anchor has been such a great way for me to do what I love to do, talk about movies, and in a way that's easy & more accessible than other platforms I use such as YouTube. LOVE IT!
It's okay. I love the app, but there is just little content of interest to me. Either that, or the content is very hard to search.

Need backlog of previous broadcast as I believe the IPhone has. Otherwise a great app and a concept.
Overall a good app, still early in its lifetime, seems to have a good mix of anchors, I like it!
Its radio meets podcasts and amazing short daily mini episodes. Great app
Got the app to record phone interviews and it won't even make the phone calls. Waste of time.

The app didn't even play the full songs from Spotify. When click to hear the full song, instead it kept loading and loading and it didn't play the song at all.

Incredible design, great UX interaction, awesome updates every week or so. I just wish you could navigate the app while listening to a station. Keep it up, 100% would recommend.

Hi Mauricio! Navigation while listening is coming soon :) Thanks so much for the feedback and the very kind words! I've been having issues playing full tracks with Spotify since I downloaded a few weeks ago. To fix it, I've either had to force close my Spotify app, or restart my phone and open up Anchor. Opening up Spotify will not allow Anchor to take over streaming full tracks through Spotify. It's a bit annoying to deal with, but otherwise an enjoyable app. I really enjoy and primarily listen to the Washed Up Emo station.

Hey Jayse - just wanted to let you know these Spotify issues should be fixed now. Please email us if you experience any other trouble: support@anchor.fm! Update: no Android Auto support means it's impossible to use in the car so I'm uninstalling. It's like they're try to make it difficult to listen to! Seems like a good start but lacking Chromecast support is a major flaw. I'll update my review as I gain more editor with it though. I'm looking forward to a new adventure.

Hi May, thanks so much for the feedback! We hope to be able to add many more music services soon. We'll keep you posted! I love the concept and the fact that creating a broadcast is as simple as simple as lifting your phone to your face. I would however love to have the ability to pause and edit recordings. Hopefully these features will come in a future update but so far so good!
Pretty cool app! I used to load up Spotify first thing in the mornings, but now Anchor is my default. I do have an issue where full tracks do not load up on my phone and only able to hear a few seconds of the songs that are played on stations.

I've found some decent content to listen to on this app. I love the idea behind the app too. It's like a more social version of podcast's. There don't seem to be any bugs that I can find, so at least on the Pixel with 7.1.2 it plays nice.
The design is confusing and restricting, the app lacks basic features.

Hi Krzysztof! Thanks for the feedback. There's a variety of different types of stations in each category, with more being created every day. If there's a station you don't like, you can double tap the "next" button to skip to the next station! Hope this helps - thanks for giving Anchor a try. Crash when I want save my recording. I had been trying up my recording and I can't do.

Hi there! You're welcome to turn off access to these permissions if you just want to use Anchor for listening. Here's why we ask for each of those things:
- camera and gallery: for (optionally) updating your profile photo
- microphone: for recording into your own station Crash central. Took itself down and the System UI service when I went to search page. Hot as far as searching for the greatest podcaster in the world - Jeff Cannata - for the latest NLB. Will uninstall and try again in a week or so and update review from there.

Hey Scott! This crash should be resolved in the latest version of Anchor, but please let us know if you experience any other trouble using the app. Thank you! Kind of a confusing app, and it plays audio out of your phone speakers while you are trying to sign up? Don't bother trying in a quiet office, or a location where you aren't expecting your speakers to full blast start talking.
