Been using this app for a few years. To date, it's still the only one I can find that's PACKED with features and preferences even in the free version.❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE being able to make so many custom playlists in addition to the other ways to organize. I'm finally going premium to support the developer and grab the remaining features, most notably, the one to automatically skip a specified amount of minutes in the beginning of a podcast. (Some have VERY long intros and obnoxious intro music.😅)

The most annoying, in your face, frustrating ads of any app I have ever used. I'm all for ad supported software, and I'm actually happy to pay a little money to get rid of ads, but I HATE how heavy handed the ads are in this software. They pop up constantly, covering the entire screen, and they hide the close buttons or put them on a timer! USE POCKET CASTS INSTEAD!!! No ads, clean interface, and a reasonable price for the paid version.

I've subscribed to CastBox for little over a year now, but no more. It has a lot of great features, but its primary function - playing podcasts - falls short, greatly, due to many instances where a podcast, any podcast, will either fast forward or rewind, randomly causing entire sections of an episode to completely disappear from playback. I also pay for Spotify, and this playback issue doesn't happen on that service for the same podcast episodes. I've reached out to support, but no resolution.
