During the festival, the whole of Kongsberg is at the head, with a bustling crowd life from the festival area Kirketorget and around to all the city's nightlife. Kongsberg Jazz Festival offers several side programs, such as Barnival for the smallest and Jazz film at Kongsberg cinema.
