Interested in learning about Marine Biology and Oceanography or maybe you are already a Professional Marine Biologist and looking for a Good Marine Biology Review Book for your Phone or Tablet then this App will be a definitely be for you!
Thanks for Downloading Marine Biologist & Oceanography Study Book App 2015 and Enjoy!
★ HD graphics and awesome music and sound effects
★ Easy to use and intuitive controls
★ Detailed information about the places you visit
★ Images based on real photos taken by telescopes or NASA spacecraft
★ Ideal educational introduction for kids
★ An atmospheric experience in the vacuum of space!
Easy to use controls make navigation a breeze. A simple tap will send you soaring into the outer reaches of deep space. Another tap will return you safely home to Earth.
There’s lots to see and do. In addition to beautiful graphics, Solar System Explorer also includes a great deal of information about the planetary systems you’ll visit. Learning has never been so enjoyable!
With the new free-flight option, you can take direct control and fly the spaceship yourself and become the pilot. Accompanied by a rumbling engine, you’ll be swooping through the asteroid belt, diving through the gas giant Saturn’s rings and surfing the upper atmosphere of planets. It’s the next best thing to a space walk!
The 3D models in this app are based on photos taken by NASA spacecraft and ground based telescopes. Because some of the moons around the gas giants have only been visited once or twice, we may have partially complete images. Missing surface detail for these objects is estimated from what can be seen.
In this solar system simulator you can explore the brilliant blue-green Uranus, knocked onto its side by a massive collision. Visit the proto-planet Ceres which makes up one third of the mass of the asteroid belt. Marvel at Neptune's moon Triton which orbits in the opposite direction to Proteus. Take in the sights of the Jupiter's heavily scarred moon Callisto, its surface pockmarked by countless impact craters.
Places to visit in this solar system orrery:
The Sun, otherwise known as Sol
Planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars
Gas giant: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
Moons: Luna, Deimos and Phobos, Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, Io, Mimas, Tethys, Enceladus, Dione, Rhea, Titan, Iapetus, Miranda, Umbriel, Ariel, Oberon, Titania, Triton, Proteus, Charon
Dwarf: Ceres, Vesta and Pluto
Also, catch up to NASA's Voyager spacecraft on its lonely journey into the cosmos
This is the 3D simulator for pocket astronomers!

✔ Provides beautifully presented information about New Zealand's precious wildlife
Marine Life of New Zealand is an educational and fun way to find out what you need to know about our native aquatic life. If you're from abroad, planning on coming here or just another curious kiwi, you'll find something to like about our friendly locals.
New Zealand is an island nation that remained isolated for 65 million years. Our native dolphins, fish, penguins and seals are strange, wonderful and precious.

About Desert RATS:
For 14 years NASA's Desert Research and Technology Studies (Desert RATS) analog has brought together scientists and engineers to test robotic equipment, vehicles, habitats, space suits, communications, and power generation and storage in remote locations similar to future destinations in space. The teams evaluate mobility, infrastructure, and effectiveness in the harsh environments, and conduct scientific studies similar to those that would be performed on the moon, near Earth asteroids, or Mars and its moons. Analogs like Desert RATS provide NASA with data about strengths, limitations, and the validity of planned human-robotic exploration operations, and help define ways to combine human and robotic efforts to enhance scientific exploration. Other NASA analog locations include the Antarctic, oceans, and arctic and volcanic environments.
The Sealife tracker app shows you how to identify each species and enables you to easily submit geo-located photos whenever you find one. The app features 25 species - 14 of which are climate change indicators and 11 that are invasive, non-native species. There's an information page for each species with a photo gallery and also a "Confusion Species" gallery for each, to help you to correctly ID them.
You can also keep track of the project, view results and upload more records on the Sealife Tracker website: http://www.brc.ac.uk/sealife_tracker/home
The state of Victoria in southern Australia is home to a rich diversity of marine habitats and a dazzling array of marine life, many species of which occur in no other region of the world. Since 2002, a system of Marine National Parks and Sanctuaries across the state protect these marine creatures and their habitats.
A jewel amongst these parks is Bunurong Marine National Park, a park of more than 2,000 hectares extending along six kilometres of coastline. This park includes wide intertidal rock platforms (popular for rock pooling) and extensive underwater rocky reefs, seaweed beds and seagrass meadows (excellent for diving and snorkeling).
Parks Victoria is responsible for the day-to-day management of these areas and has developed this app in collaboration with Museum Victoria to connect people and communities to the diverse wildlife and activities on offer in Bunurong Marine National Park.
JellyWatch is now working with NASA to understand the effects of toxic algal blooms, also known as 'red tides'. Please submit sightings of red tides and sick or dead marine mammals.
- includes three areas of learning: the globe, the bookcase, and the fishing area
- the globe provides information on the world's oceans and seas
- the book case provides access to the history of oceanography through various book selections
- the fishing area contains activities to learn about salinity and salinity testing as well as clam shells and starfish.
- the fishing activity allows you to fish for ocean life and learn about what you catch
