Fabulous app So easy to read with all the information needed for tide times. Tried some of the others but this one beats them all hands down and would definitely recommend ❤
Ugly I love this app, use it quite regularly... But please! A nice simple, minimal plain widget :)
Missing data Moto g running KitKat 4.4. New version 2.1 shows missing data for all UK locations despite reinstalling 3 times. Still works OK on Asus hd7 running jb4.2.2. Shame, was a decent app. Update, not working at all now 24/8/14, looks like a server issue affecting tide7 app as well. Will update if it starts working again. 5 star app when it works.
Broken Was good, if short ranged, but now won't show any tidal data at all so sadly worthless.
22/8/14 no info at all . Dates shown as sun 00/00 all week . Just sunrise and sun set . Fix it soon . Its now the 28 /8/14 and its still not fixed , deleet and forget i think . Dose not even show as instaled or needed an upgrade , all other apps need an upgrade at least once a month . And another thing , how come the bloody adverts still work ??????
This app is fine for showing the times and heights of high and low tides for most of the UK, as it downloads those values directly from EasyTide which is the offical UK agency free source. Unfortunately, the graph it displays from those values is at best deceptive, and at worst dangerous, as it is generated by assuming the sea level between high and low tide follows a roughly sinusoidal pattern. Take a look at Bournemouth for example, which in reality often has double high tides and other strange quirks in sea level due to tidal flows in the English Channel. The official graph from EasyTide is quite different from the simple sine-wave type graph this app displays, and if you trusted this app for tidal info there, it may well kill you.
